The Shift Your Life® team was busy all day Saturday during SHIFT Charlotte 2015 with people following up with “Shift Doctor” Marion Ross about her Qigong and Energy Medicine rapid tools for transformation that she had demonstrated to participants the previous evening.

We even had people who dropped by to get their antioxidant levels measured with our Biophotonic Scanner or to get a Marine Glacial Mud mask treatment or a Facelift Demo! We had a great deal of fun discussing out EPOCH line of products with the soon-to-be

released ultra pure Essential Oils!!  We just love to be The SHIFT Demonstrated!!  🙂

While saying “Rabbits! Rabbits! Rabbits!” this morning as I listened to the howler monkeys that had awakened me from my slumber in Costa Rica where I was studying with my Qigong Master  Robert Peng, I heard Steve Nelson “Mythic Astrologer“ urging me to pay attention – “It’s time! Get working on the Moon Magic post!” So here it is!

The astrology of February features Mercury,  Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and  Pluto. The month starts with Mercury in its three-week retrograde that lasts until Feb. 11th. The result of the above planetary influence has created a powerfully introspective time for many people globally. As 2015 gets rolling thoughtful people everywhere cannot help but wonder where this global society is heading at times yet the Light at the end of the tunnel is the draw towards a reawakening of a “Wisdom Culture” in the near future.

We begin to turn outward again awakening to new life as the spirit of Winter Carnival rises within us. It’s time to frolic, dance and become a child again. Each of us is a child of this magical New Year coming to be. The new spirit that entered on Winter Solstice becomes conscious at Imbolc / Candlemas (Feb 1-4), the Winter Cross-Quarter. The New Year spirit is quickened to awareness during Winter Carnival ending with Mardi Gras Feb 17.

Carnival is the season to awaken the dragon that will be tamed during Lent. The bigger the dragon awakened and trained to purpose the more creative energy is available for the New Year. Traditionally lovers are chosen on Valentine’s Day because it’s easier to awaken and tame dragons in twos. While this may or may not be true, the techniques for awakening and taming dragons are pretty much the same for individuals as for twos.

Many celebrate Carnival and avoid Lent, others observe Lent but ignore Carnival. In general, those who ignore Carnival are more likely to be repressed emotionally while those who celebrate Carnival but avoid Lent are more apt to be dominated by their own passions. When both Carnival and Lent are given their due the vital force (symbolized by serpent or dragon) is stirred to life and integrated to power our new creation.

Carnival and Lent are important pagan fertility rites partially adapted by the Catholics. Placing ashes on the forehead was originally an Anglo-Saxon shamanic practice performed in the weeks before Spring Equinox. The purpose of ash (think carbon rings charged with solar energy) is to stimulate the brow chakra and draw up the spine the primal energy awakened in winter carnival.

The Chinese New Year, beginning on Feb 19 also signals an awakening of vital forces, it is celebrated by dragons dancing in the street. The dragon appears to be chasing (or is led by) a bouncing ball suggestive of dragon training or focusing on a goal.

When does a year really begin? Different cultures celebrate New Year at different times because the year begins on several levels. The Lunar New Year celebrated in China adds the vital emotional dimension. Each lunar year is symbolized by an animal, element and color. 2015 is a Yin, Green, Wood Sheep/Goat Year. The Chinese New Year celebration culminates with the Lantern Festival on the Mar 5 Full Moon.

MetaphysicalTracyHeadshotSteveNelsonI was recently poring over more than 500 pages of information Steve Nelson (“Mythic Astrologer” and Wizard) had shared with me over the years of our friendship and wishing he was still here with us to share his Moon Magic wisdom. I have missed him a great deal. As I sat down with all of his information once again this past week, I felt a palpable nudge from him telling me to carry on. I began to make a list of all the books he had referenced to me over the years and that I had made notes of… and I began to gather all the information together along with his Moon Magic wisdom. The following is a joint effort between Steve and me. I promised to “carry on” only if he would assist me. So we have an agreement… what follows is the result.

Moon Magic for January 2015:

The New Year zeitgeist seeded at Winter Solstice comes to creative expression through the 12 days of Yule culminating with Epiphany Jan 6. The 12 Days of Christmas or Yuletide (Dec. 26 to Jan 6) is the New Year in embryo – dreams of these 12 nights portend what will be in the 12 months of the coming year. The year spirit is fully formed Jan 6, the last spoke in the wheel of Yule. This is Three Kings Day, the day the three wise men came bearing gifts: manifestations of divinity. Jan 6 is the original gift-giving day for good reason, it is when the spirit of the new cycle takes physical form.

This week you can say goodbye to 2014 with two Jovian eclipses, and you can ring in the New Year with a meteor shower and a fast brightening comet!!

Jupiter eclipse can be seen during the New Year festivities late on Wednesday, December 31st. Look to the sky and you’ll be able to see Jupiter’s largest moon, Ganymede, slowly enter the planet’s shadow and then disappear from view. Ganymede’s vanishing act starts at 10:18 p.m. EST, and at 11 p.m. the neighboring moon Europa follows it into eclipse.

2015 is the Year of the Strength Tarot Key 8 (Teth). The key characters are that of a woman (Divine Female) and Leo the lion (ruled by The Sun), with the woman looking calm and gentle, yet dominant over the lion (the woman clasping the lion’s jaws). There is a lemniscate or infinity sign hovering over the woman’s head (the same horizontal 8 that hovers over the head of the Magician).  It suggests that something of the Magician’s quality has been transferred to the woman. The modern interpretation of the card stresses discipline and self-control. The lion represents the primal or id-like part of the mind, and the woman, the ‘higher’ or more elevated parts of the mind. The woman’s white robe (as well as the Mountain in the background) relates to the pure spiritual influence of the Primal Will. The card tells us to be wary of base emotions and primal impulse. The woman leads the lion by a chain of flowers signifying artistic adaptation (chain) of desire (roses). When we learn to weave our desires together into a singular intention (chain), while rejecting all desires which conflict with our main purpose , we can apply our powerful creative imagination to the control and direction of the serpentine kundalini power. The woman tames the lion and opens his mouth to give power to speech – to render it sacred. TLatzWe (“The Shift Doctors”) have had the privilege of attending formal Ancient Mystery School training at Delphi University in McCaysville, Georgia. Many of our students have had a keen interest in our metaphysical training and what we learned in our years there. We have had some students and colleagues who have pursued their own training at Delphi after learning of our experiences. Unfortunately, many of our students could not afford the cost of attending Delphi – and some could not afford to take the time away from home to attend the week-long classes in residence there.

During these times of evolutionary change, we have noticed a quickening in the need and desire for the information that we learned during our metaphysical training. We feel strongly there is a powerful need for this information (intuitive development for a Purpose) to be readily available at this particular time.  It is to this end that we have decided to begin the Shift Your Life® Mystery School Series of classes starting Thursday, Nov. 6th, 2014.

stonehengeThe emphasis on the start of this Mystery School Series is to awaken each person’s cosmic memory of their own involvement in mystery schools in previous incarnations (if they are drawn to them currently, then they likely have experienced the teachings before and their soul is wanting them to remember)… then to move forward to becoming aware of the Holistic Healing System – of how the chakras interact with thoughts/emotions and intentions as well as your soul’s purpose to affect your body and experiences…. then becoming aware of how our perceptions of our place in the world and relationships as CHILDREN forms our LIFE PLAN which then dictates how WE interact now as adults. The problem is that we usually have never been aware of how powerfully our beliefs at age 3 or 5 or 7 is still creating our life now. Once each person then goes through experiences and exercises to understand exactly how this is affecting their own health, emotions and relationships now…. we go into the 2 day Shift Your Life® Seminar to give an Inner Sanctuary training to allow each person to connect to their Higher Self directly and quick tools/techniques to begin to shift old thought patterns and lower frequency, negative reactive emotion patterns. This paves the way to then create a New Life Plan that you consciously create and the place within to create your life anew while being able to ask questions from your own Higher Self and receives answers along the way. 🙂

It is with a sense of Service and Purpose that we begin the Mystery School Series this coming week at a special low introductory price – as we do not want anyone to be left out due to finances. Now is the time.
